Success ...Whats the Key Ingredient?

Don't expect results over night - what??

If you were to look back one hundred years ago, most people never expected results overnight. We now live in a fast paced world where everyone is in a hurry to do anything and everything. We want instant results! And then, when we don't get those instant results, we think we have failed to achieve our goals.

If you really want to be successful at something, it takes time, dedication and a lot of practicing. Take for instance an Olympic gymnast. They devote their entire lives to the sport, train many hours daily, just so that they can possibly compete as one of the best in the world. They develop their success through habits.

Why not apply what many great people in this world do to your own home business?

If you want to stand out in your business, you might just need to give yourself a bit more time in order to be successful. Evaluate how far you have come six months down the road and then again in a year.

Someone who is good in what they do has not just achieved this success over night. It more than likely has taken them years of dedication. Luck might play a factor into some of it, but I am sure they have put in their fair share of time becoming successful.

Do you think some of the most successful companies in the world today were built over night?

These guys put in a good amount of hours and hard work day in and day out to get where they are today.

For whatever you want to achieve in your home business, here's a strategy:

  • Practice or put in work every day
  • But don't expect to see progress every day!
  • Make sure you have a daily plan and stick with it.
  • Successful people have successful habits.
  • Develop a success pattern of these habits over time.
  • Develop a habit of accepting rejection and you will become more mentally tough as a result.

Follow the lead of a successful mentor who has already achieved the success you would like to have.

Stay positive and find people who can encourage you to keep up these patterns. Most successful people start washing cars or selling newspapers at about ten years of age and keep moving up from there. They develop a "success pattern". Then they sharpen their skills and aim higher as they progress. You first learn to catch little fish, then big fish. You practice doing a flip before you do a double twist.

What's so important about a success pattern?

It's what gets you to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

When you know in your heart:

1. "I've prepared myself for this"

2. "I can do it!"

3. "I deserve it," then you are on your way.

When you DO NOT believe in yourself, you are dead in the water. Allow yourself time to improve. You might see little progress each month THEN after an entire year has passed assess your improvement.

Most people quit too soon!

In Conclusion:

To be successful, this is what you need - in order of importance:

  • Patience and Persistence
  • Talent
  • Allow yourself time to improve
  • If there's no success pattern, look out! make success a habit.
  • Attach yourself to a proven mentor with high integrity.

Make sure your mentor has been successful more than once, so you know that it was not just luck the first time. Make sure they have proven system and methods that work, so that you can apply this same principle to your business.
